On Monday night, the Philadelphia 76ers will visit the Cleveland Cavaliers in Ohio.
The 76ers are coming off a 125-116 loss to the Atlanta Hawks (in Georgia).
Tyrese Maxey finished the loss with 31 points, two rebounds, five assists and four steals while shooting 12/22 from the field and 3/7 from three-point range in 38 minutes of playing time.

For Monday’s game, the 76ers have announced that they will be without Maxey.
Ky Carlin of Sixers Wire wrote: “Injury report for tomorrow @ Cavaliers:
OUT: Joel Embiid (right shoulder sprain), Tyrese Maxey (right finger sprain), Johni Broome (right knee surgery recovery)
QUESTIONABLE: VJ Edgecombe (lumbar contusion) #Sixers”

ESPN’s Shams Charania also reported more details.
Charania wrote: “76ers All-Star Tyrese Maxey suffered a sprain of the right fifth finger and is out for the next two games. He will undergo further testing and consultation on next steps.”

Maxey And The 76ers This Season
Maxey is currently in the middle of another fantastic season with averages of 29.0 points, 4.1 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 2.0 steals per contest while shooting 46.1% from the field and 37.3% from three-point range in 61 games.
He made his sixth season out of Kentucky.

The 76ers are currently the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 34-29 record in 63 games.
They have won four out of their last ten games (and are 17-13 on the road).
After the Cavs, the 76ers will play their next game on Tuesday night when they return to the Wells Fargo Center to host the Memphis Grizzlies.
Last season, they missed the 2025 NBA playoffs.

The will be on the second half of a back-t0-back after losing to the Boston Celtics by a score of 109-98 (on Sunday in Ohio).
They come into the matchup as the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 39-25 record in 64 games.
On the road, the Cavs are 18-13.
