Giants free agency rumor could see rising star depart New York for 49ers, Steelers or Titans

Wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson's days with the New York Giants seem to be coming to an end.

Dan Duggan of The Athletic believes Robinson's departure from the Giants is inevitable as the rising star receiver hits free agency in the coming days.

"All signs point toward Wan'Dale Robinson's departure. He's getting at least $15M/year and potentially much more. His type of game isn't as valued in this offense as, say, Tennessee's," Duggan said.

Robinson had a career year in 2025 with 1,014 receiving yards and four touchdowns. The 25-year-old also had over 90 receptions for the second consecutive season.

The Tennessee Titans feel like the favorites to sign Robinson. Tennessee is slated to have $92 million in cap space, have a dire need at receiver, and Robinson's connection to new offensive coordinator Brian Daboll could push a deal to the finish line for the Titans.

However, the San Francisco 49ers and Pittsburgh Steelers could be threats to the Titans' pursuit of Robinson.

San Francisco will need to add a few receivers this offseason, with Jauan Jennings hitting the free agency market and Brandon Aiyuk likely not in the plans for 2026. Robinson would be a nice fit in Kyle Shananahn's offense and serve as a dynamic receiving threat for quarterback Brock Purdy.

Pittsburgh needs to find another viable receiving option opposite DK Metcalf, and Robinson would fit well next to Metcalf in the Steelers' offense.

It sounds like Robinson won't be a Giant for much longer, so the Titans, 49ers, and Steelers should get ready to pursue the ascending receiver out of Kentucky.
