OKC Thunder receive major Ajay Mitchell injury news: Will he finally play?

Mitchell (abdomen/ankle) will return to OKC after missing 20 consecutive games.

It appears that the Oklahoma City Thunder will finally witness the return of one of their most important pieces this season.

In OKC's initial injury report ahead of Monday's showdown against the Denver Nuggets, Ajay Mitchell is no longer included and is poised to play after missing the last 20 games.

Mitchell, who nursed an abdominal strain and a left ankle sprain, has been out since Jan. 21 for the reigning champs.

He is delivering a solid year for OKC this 2025-26, averaging 14.1 points, 3.7 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 26.3 minutes across 43 games.

On one end, the Nuggets have released their own injury report about Jamal Murray's status.
