After failing to defend their Premier League title, Liverpool will be hoping to make a strong start to the knockout stages of the Champions League on Tuesday, when they take on Galatasaray at RAMS Park in the round of 16.
Arne Slot's Reds bounced back from a 2-1 top-flight defeat against Wolverhampton Wanderers by downing the Old Gold 3-1 in the FA Cup on Friday.
Aside from the victory, the Merseysiders will be pleased to have Florian Wirtz back in action, after the German playmaker made an appearance off the substitutes bench at Molineux.
Striker Hugo Ekitike was also rested on Friday, a factor that could be crucial given that the club are still missing record signing Alexander Isak as he works his way to full fitness.
