Brooks and Phoenix are up 2-0 so far on their three-game regular-season series over Minnesota.
The Minnesota Timberwolves are poised for another special campaign this 2025-26 season, but Dillon Brooks is convinced they are simply no match against him and the Phoenix Suns.
In his appearance on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game, the Suns star dropped an intriguing claim about the Timberwolves.
"You never know, like, Ant could have a great year this year and win a chip, or whatever, why not? But, if they run into us, it's gonna be problems," Brooks said.
"We got their number this year."
Brooks and the Suns are up 2-0 over the Timberwolves in their current regular-season series. In their first meeting right at the NBA Cup, the Suns pulled a dramatic 114-113 win thanks to Collin Gillespie's game-winning triple.
And after a few weeks, Phoenix snatched another victory via a 108-105 upset in Minnesota despite Devin Booker's inactivity.
As such, the margin of victory by the Suns is still significantly slim (2.0), and superstar Anthony Edwards is actually averaging over 40 points in those two matches.
Both teams are set to face off for the final time this regular season on March 17, and time will only be the truth teller if they meet for a seven-game encounter in the 2026 NBA Playoffs.
The Wolves are fourth in the West with a 40-24 record. With a 36-27 standing, the Suns are occupying the seventh spot.
