Phoenix Suns guard Grayson Allen was listed as out for right knee injury management within an hour of Sunday’s game airing exclusively on Peacock and NBCSN against the Charlotte Hornets.
He first appeared on the NBA injury report on Sunday morning as “probable” after playing six straight games for Phoenix.
Collin Gillespie replaced Allen in the starting lineup, which also featured Devin Booker, Jalen Green, Oso Ighodaro and Royce O’Neale, who entered as questionable.
Allen had missed four games due to an issue with the same knee prior to and one game after the NBA All-Star break in February. He also was absent for games in December for his right knee.
The 6-foot-3 guard has averaged 17.5 points, three rebounds and 4.2 assists in 41 games this season.
