Logan Paul will not be fighting two NFL stars in a $2 million gym scrap after being forced live on stream to focus on his upcoming wrestling plans.
YouTuber-turned-WWE superstar Paul is a big part of the promotion’s plans as they head into WrestleMania, and has been touring around the world to appear on Monday Night Raw. As a result, he has made no secret of his retirement from boxing, where he has had four fights across disciplines.

However, since a podcast appearance where he and football legend Tom Brady got into a verbal fracas over his status as an elite athlete, he laid out a challenge to any NFL player. He was going to put up $1 million to face anyone in the league at his gym in Puerto Rico, and received two positive responses.
Logan Paul forced out of $2 million boxing challenge with NFL stars
Originally, Logan Paul wanted to see if any current NFL player would take his challenge of travelling – all expenses paid – to his and brother Jake Paul’s plush Puerto Rico gym and box him to prove who was the better athlete-turned-fighter. Both men would put up a prize of $1 million, with the winner taking all.
Of course, most current footballers will have contractual obligations against such stunts, but former league stars Le’Veon Bell and Breiden Fehoko did answer the call. Bell has boxed more times as a professional than Paul, while Fehoko claims to have trained in his youth.
But after sending contracts to put money in escrow to both men, Paul was called during a stream for his new company Ripit by someone involved in WWE insisting that he not get involved. They demanded that he not risk injury, particularly with WrestleMania on the way on April 18 and 19.
Logan Paul releases statement after cancelling fight with two NFL stars
After the stream, Paul took to X to release a statement declaring that he had been pulled from the fights by his bosses at the WWE. He mocked both of his prospective opponents, but commenters were not impressed with his reasoning.
“Welp,” he wrote. “The bosses called. Turns out I’m too valuable of a WWE Superstar to be fighting bums.
“I want to take this opportunity to congratulate @LeVeonBell and @BreidenFehoko for their 15 minutes of relevancy. Now back to being broke and retired I’m going back to RAW every Monday on Netflix @WWE.”

Bell released a lengthy video mocking Paul, while Fehoko tweeted twice declaring victory. His first message read: “I am now 1-0 in my professional boxing career.
“To everyone that said I’d lose what’s your excuse now? This is not the way I wanted to win. I’m a honorable man but like a good coach once said enjoy the wins they are hard to come by.”
He followed it up with a shot at Jake, saying: “I am your boss. I am your judge. I am your jury. In the case of you and your brother I am your daddy.”
