Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid have AFC Bournemouth star Eli Junior Kroupi on their agendas for the summer window.
That’s at least what Téléfoot in France are reporting, relayed by Le10 Sport. They cover Liverpool, PSG and Real Madrid interest, and the striker has also responded to these clubs’ interest.
Bournemouth agreed a deal with FC Lorient in February 2025 for Kroupi to arrive at the Liberty Stadium last summer.
The 19-year-old has played 24 matches, which includes 13 starts, and scored eight goals so far for Bournemouth. This includes late equalisers against both Leeds United and Manchester United, helping Andoni Iraola’s side secure two points.
Kroupi also scored in Bournemouth’s league win over Tottenham Hotspur and the loss to Arsenal. His performances and potential haven’t gone unnoticed in England and across Europe.
Liverpool in picture with Real Madrid and PSG
Last month, Sport Witness relayed news from France that Arsenal and the Ligue 1 winners are looking at the Bournemouth player.
Téléfoot now backs up PSG’s interest and add Liverpool and Real Madrid to his suitors list.
Arne Slot’s side, the Paris club and Real Madrid signed Milos Kerkez, Illia Zabarnyi and Dean Huijsen from Bournemouth respectively last summer. Los Blancos activated the latter’s clause while Liverpool and PSG negotiated a fee.
The Reds could tussle with PSG and Real Madrid to sign the France U21 international after this season.
Frenchman thrilled with big clubs’ interest
The Bournemouth attacker, for his part, is delighted these clubs are showing interest in him.
“It’s nice when people talk about me, when they talk about these big clubs,” he said.
“But the most important thing for me is what I do on the pitch It’s the best league in the world, so performing here, for me, means you can perform anywhere. The most important thing for me is to perform here, and then we’ll see what happens.”
Kroupi’s contract and value
The player has a contract until 2030 and Transfermarkt values him at €22m. This is so far the highest valuation in his short career.
However, Bournemouth would likely demand a fee much higher than his current valuation, if they decide to sell him.
Last summer, Liverpool spent big on both Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitiké. Therefore, it may not make sense to sign Kroupi next season.
