Dillon Brooks didn't hold back when sharing his thoughts on NBA Top 50 players, roasting stars like LeBron James, Joel Embiid, and Cooper Flagg. Brooks made it clear he thinks no one is having a better year than him, calling some players soft, injury-prone, or overly whiny, while praising others for their game.
Dillon Brooks is not holding back this season. The veteran Phoenix Suns wing gave his honest, no-filter opinions on players ranked above him in the NBA Top 50, and some of his takes are sure to spark debate.

Brooks didn't hold back on superstars like Joel Embiid, whom he dismissed due to injuries: "No, he's too hurt you can probably go to sleep for a straight week and he's probably hurt again," he said in an episode of Million Dollaz Worth of Game. He also criticized Austin Reaves as a "foul baiter" and refused to rate Shaedon Sharpe.
On the topic of physicality, Brooks called out Julius Randle as "one of the biggest complainers, he wants all the calls because he plays the most physical him, Zion Williamson and Giannis Antetokounmpo play so physical."
He had strong opinions on Paolo Banchero as well, saying it's a "down year for Paolo, could be way better he's supposed be LeBron status," and confidently stated about LeBron James: "He ain't having a better year than me."
Some players got quick dismissals: Josh Giddey, Rudy Gobert, Chet Holmgren, and Scottie Barnes all got a simple "nah" from Brooks.

Brooks had praise for certain players, like Michael Porter Jr., Kon Knueppel, Bradon Ingram, Jalen Duren, Karl-Anthony Towns, and James Harden, calling them "having a good year" or "nice."
Some young talents got more detailed takes. Keyonte George impressed Brooks but he called him "SOFT." Cooper Flagg got a mix of praise and critique: "I rate him... not a better year than me because if I was with the Mavs would be in the playoff hunt." Trey Murphy III got a similar take: "I can't support losing so no but he's having a great year."
De'Aaron Fox, Lauri Markkanen, and Jalen Williams were acknowledged for their numbers or talent, but Brooks didn't see them outperforming him.
While Brooks' confidence is undeniable, some of his claims might raise eyebrows. The Suns, for example, sit 7th in the Western Conference with a 36-27 record, and some of the younger stars he mentioned are having career-defining seasons.
Still, Brooks is standing by his play: 20.9 points per game is the highest scoring average of his career, and he's proving he's a force on the wing.
