Chelsea could add Nicolas Jackson or Darwin Nunez to their squad in the summer.
Jackson seems likely to return to Chelsea after his loan spell at Bayern Munich finishes, while Nunez is being linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.
It was recently claimed that Chelsea are interested in signing Nunez from Al-Hilal in the next transfer window.
What are you doing with Nicolas Jackson, Chelsea fans?

Chelsea should utilise Nicolas Jackson instead of signing Darwin Nunez
Given that Chelsea already have Jackson on their books, it would make little sense to go out and buy Nunez.
The Uruguayan is not going to be an upgrade on Jackson. When they both played in the Premier League, their numbers were very similar.
In fact, they were very similar strikers in the sense that both men usually underperformed when it came to xG.
If you had to pick one…
Don't say none 🤣
Darwin Nunez is being linked with a move to Chelsea!

In the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons, Jackson also outscored Nunez, though he did play more minutes. Whatever the case, the former Liverpool man has not done anything to warrant a big move to Chelsea.
Jackson’s record at Chelsea is 30 goals in 81 appearances, while Nunez’s at Liverpool was 40 in 143. Again, Nunez is not going to be an upgrade.

The question is whether Jackson would even want to stay at Chelsea, but they still have Joao Pedro, Liam Delap and Marc Guiu, while Emanuel Emegha is also on his way.
Pedro has been sensational for the Blues of late, scoring again in their fifth round FA Cup win over Wrexham.
He is a South American who knows how to finish. Can you say the same about Nunez? Liverpool supporters will tell you no. If he could, the Reds would probably not have sold him to Al-Hilal, who paid £46m for his signature last year.
All in all, Chelsea should steer clear of Nunez, especially considering the fact that they can add Jackson to their squad without paying a single penny.
