Baltimore Ravens edge rusher Maxx Crosby.
If you want to know how all-in edge rusher Maxx Crosby is with the Baltimore Ravens — and his heartfelt speech following Friday’s trade from the Las Vegas raiders wasn’t enough — just take 1 look at his official Instagram account.
Crosby changed his profile picture to a seamless edit of him in a Ravens uniform on Sunday — and in his signature No. 98 jersey — and set tongues wagging. It even got a screenshot and a repost from Ravens quarterback and 2-time NFL MVP Lamar Jackson on Jackson’s Instagram stories.
The post came amid Crosby and his wife throwing a Drake-themed party to celebrate his trade to the Ravens as well as the 6th anniversary of Crosby’s sobriety.
“Ravens Flock, it’s time,” Crosby wrote on Instagram.
“Maxx Crosby celebrates being traded to the Ravens with legendary country rapper Shaboozey,” NFL influencer Dov Kleiman wrote on his official X account, accompanied by videos from the party. “Crosby was also celebrating six years of sobriety. A true role model on and off the field.”
“Crosby posted his first photo with the Ravens jersey!!” Ravens superfan Corvao wrote on X.
Ravens Uniform Secret Revealed in Crosby’s Pic?
Sharp-eyed social media users were able to deduce Crosby’s pic may have come directly from the Ravens’ social media team, as it featured an as-yet-unseen new Ravens home jersey.
“Ravens leaking theirjersey updates throughMaxx Crosby and thought nobody would pick up on it,” Zone 32 Podcast’s Drew Banned wrote on X.
“Maxx Crosby posts himself in a Ravens uniform,” Locked on Ravens podcast host Kevin Oestricher wrote on X. “That jersey looks a little different too.”
Crosby’s Emotional Statement Following Trade
Crosby took to social media 1 day after the trade to the Ravens, who gave up their 2026 and 2027 1st round picks to secure one of the NFL’s dominant defensive players.
In an emotional, 12-minute video, Crosby said his goodbyes to the Raiders and their fans as well as formally introducing himself to Ravens fans.
Crosby, who signed a 3-year, $106.5 million contract extension before the 2025 season, is a 5-time Pro Bowler and 2-time NFL All-Pro with 69.5 career sacks and 111 career TFL — a category he’s led the NFL in twice, in 2022 and 2023.
In 2025, playing for the worst team in the NFL, Crosby had 73 tackles, 10.0 sacks, 28 TFL, 6 pass deflections, 1 interception, and 2 forced fumbles in just 15 games. The Raiders shut him down for the final 2 games of the regular season in a move likely done to make sure the Raiders secured the No. 1 overall pick.
“It’s a new day,” Crosby said. “I’m going to Baltimore. Flock Nation, everybody in the whole city of Baltimore, I’ve got a lot to learn. I’ll attack it head-on like I do anything else, but everything is going to be new to me. To the fans there, I’m not going to sit here and make a bunch of grand predictions or anything of that nature. I’m going there with 1 purpose, and that’s to help ultimately to get this team where it needs to be and where everybody wants to go, and that’s winning a Super Bowl. And I know that’s going to be very difficult and there’s no guarantee in that, but I’m going to give everything in my heart and soul to bring a championship to Baltimore … no more words needed for that. I’m going to lead by action. Lead fully … I want to get to that pinnacle.”
