The MVP emphasized that even after years at the top, his approach hasn't changed much. He still spends a lot of time in the gym working on different types of exercises, from weight room sessions and running to specific shooting routines.

Jokic cycles through several workouts depending on the day, including non-contact shooting sessions, semi-contact drills, and more intense exercises that simulate real game scenarios.

"I have one that's non-contact, just shooting, just finding my rhythm," Jokic said. "Then I have a workout with finishes, movements, and semi-contact. I also have one where I literally have to make, say, three out of four shots on the move from 20 different spots or sets. And then I have workouts where I really play from the elbows against two or three players, just to feel the contact, whether a small guy is guarding me or a big guy."

He also discussed how he refined his three-point shot. After years of adjusting with his coach, Ognjen Stojakovic, Jokic tweaked his technique slightly, leading to a significant improvement in his shooting efficiency.

"Since last year, I've been shooting a really good percentage. This year isn't too bad either. So, it comes down to details and time spent in the gym shooting," he explained.

Jokic stressed that even small changes can make a huge difference. "The adjustment wasn't that big, really just one or two details, it didn't take that much. I wasn't a 10% or 20% shooter; I was already a decent shooter. But putting in the time, especially in preseason, helped me fine-tune everything."
