All the early injury news surrounding Chelsea and next Champions League opponents PSG.
Though, PSG have taken a step back since last season, currently holding only a one-point lead at the top of Ligue 1 and losing to AS Monaco over the weekend. Here we round up the injury latest surrounding PSG and Chelsea coming into this one.
Joao Neves - Doubt
Neves has been out for the last week with an ankle issue, but he is hoping to train today (Monday) and return for the Chelsea clash.
Fabian Ruiz - Out
Ruiz is now set to be out for a little longer than expected and will miss this one as he looks to get fully fit before returning.
Quentin Ndjantou - Out
Quentin had to have hamstring surgery last month and will be out until some time in April.
Ousmane Dembélé - Fit
Dembélé returned to the bench last time out after a small injury and did come off the bench in the Monaco defeat. He should be fit to start here.
Jamie Bynoe-Gittens - Out
Rosenior has said: “Levi is doing really well with his long-term rehab...” The winger will be at least a couple of weeks more.
Estevao Willian - Out
Rosenior has said: “Estevao is back on the pitch running, which is great, and he’s doing really well.” Estevao will likely return next weekend.
Dario Essugo - Out
Rosenior has said: “Dario is back on the training pitch as well. Hopefully, we can get all these players fit and on the pitch before the end of the season.”
Levi Colwill - Out
In his latest update, Rosenior has said: “Levi is doing really well with his long-term rehab...” There is hope Colwill can return before the end of the season.
Mykhailo Mudryk - Out (Suspended)
Mudryk is suspended. A club statement in the summer read: “We can confirm that Mykhailo Mudryk has been charged with Anti-Doping Rule Violations alleging the presence and/or use of a prohibited substance, in terms of Regulations 3 and 4 of The FA's Anti-Doping Regulations. As this is an ongoing case, we are not in a position to comment further at this time.” Mudryk is not included in the final count due to the nature of his absence.
