The Las Vegas Raiders made a trade on Friday with the Baltimore Ravens that is going to reshape the franchise. Las Vegas decided to trade away defensive end Maxx Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens for a first-round pick in 2026 and a first-round pick in 2027. The Raiders are deciding that they are totally in a rebuild.

As for the Ravens, they are in-win now mode. Las Vegas will have the number one and the number 14 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Who will they pick at number 14? It won’t be a surprise when the Raiders decide to draft Indiana Hoosiers quarterback Fernando Mendoza with the top overall pick in this year’s draft. They have a lot of holes to fill on this roster here.

Max Chadwick of profootballfocus.com created his latest three-round NFL mock draft for 2026. With the Raiders having two first-round picks now, it will be interesting to see what Las Vegas does with its second selection. Chadwick thinks that they will draft wide receiver Jordyn Tyson from the Arizona State Sun Devils. He said,
“The Raiders now own two top-15 picks after trading star edge defenderMaxx Crosbyto the Ravens. In this mock, Las Vegas finds its next franchise quarterback, Fernando Mendoza, with the top pick and then adds a weapon for him to throw to here in Tyson. His extensive injury history is a concern, but he did produce an 89.5 PFF receiving grade over the past two years.”
Las Vegas would need to find a number one wide receiver for Mendoza. They already have Ashton Jeanty at running back and Brock Bowers at tight end. Tyson is 6’2″ and weighs 200 lbs. Last season with Arizona State, he caught 61 passes for 711 yards receiving and eight touchdowns, along with averaging 11.7 yards per reception.
The Raiders no doubt would make a good choice by going receiver here. However, Las Vegas could also draft a defensive player on the line and find a Crosby replacement.
