Report: Several More NFL Trades Are Coming Monday

The Miami Dolphins and the New York Jets agreed to a big trade on Monday morning, hours before the start of NFL free agency.

Miami is sending Minkah Fitzpatrick to the New York Jets.

"The Miami Dolphins are sending Minkah Fitzpatrick to the New York Jets in exchange for the 2026 seventh-round pick from the Chargers, per ESPN sources," Adam Schefter reported.

"The Jets will sign Fitzpatrick to a three-year, $40 million deal, per his agent Drew Rosenhaus."

It's a big move for the Jets, who will look to take a major step forward in Year 2 of the Aaron Glenn era in 2026.

The Jets were among the NFL's worst teams in 2025, but they'll look to improve in a major way next season. New York will look to get better in the defensive secondary, adding Fitzpatrick into the mix.

More NFL trades are likely coming, too.
