Bucks reach embarrassing low point after loss to the Magic

After snapping a four-game losing skid with a win over the Utah Jazz at Fiserv Forum on Saturday, the Milwaukee Bucks failed to build on that momentum, as they suffered a blowout loss at the hands of the Orlando Magic on Sunday at home.

Without Giannis Antetokounmpo, who sat out the second game of a back-to-back, the Bucks looked lackluster on the floor, as the Magic dominated the home team from start to finish.

When it was all said and done on the court, the Magic came away with an easy 130-91 victory.

The Bucks’ loss to the Magic was the latest blowout of its kind for Milwaukee

Losing by 39 points was a slap in the face for Milwaukee, despite the team being without its best player.

The loss also set a new unwanted record for the franchise.

The Magic simply had their way against Milwaukee, which dropped to 27-36 overall and 15-17 at home, so far in the 2025-26 NBA regular season.

Paolo Banchero lit up the Bucks for 33 points on 12/16 shooting from the floor. Jalen Suggs added 20 points on 7/9 shooting for Orlando, while Desmond Bane chipped in 18 on 6/12 shooting. As a team, the Magic shot 56 percent from the field.

Milwaukee was led by Bobby Portis, who came off the bench and fired 18 points. Cam Thomas added 17 points as part of the backup unit.

Milwaukee will look to get back up on Tuesday (or at least prevent losing embarrassingly again) against the Phoenix Suns at home.
