Amy Luciani, wife of NBA veteran Dwight Howard, accused him of drug use and revealed multiple CPS visits to their home, claiming their marriage is in serious trouble.
On March 8, coinciding with International Women's Day, Amy Luciani, wife of NBA star Dwight Howard, took to social media with a shocking message about the struggles in their marriage.
Luciani accused Howard of drug use and revealed that Child Protective Services (CPS) had been called to their home multiple times.
Luciani, who married the veteran center in January 2025, said their relationship has been strained amid repeated CPS visits and Howard's alleged substance issues.
She shared on social media: "CPS has been here three times in less than three months."
In a video, Luciani held up a small bag containing a white substance.
"And this is it," she said as she pointed to what is assumed to be drugs. "This is what I'm losing my f**king marriage to."
"I told everyone you got to help him… He is spiraling, and I'm in here with him. I'm trying to love him through it.
"I've been trying to tell everybody, he needs some help," she continued. "Nobody wanted to listen because he's got the money. I live with him, and he needs some help."
Luciani went on to admit the personal toll of the situation:
"I can admit right now I feel shame. ... My husband put himself in a position that resulted in CPS being called to our house 3X in less than two months, but three days ago, they were called again, and they left with our daughter. I have personally had to call the police on him 3 times in a barely 14-month marriage."
Howard, 40, is an 18-year NBA veteran, an eight-time All-Star, and an NBA champion with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020.
He has also earned eight All-NBA Team honors, five All-Defensive Team selections, and three Defensive Player of the Year awards, and he most recently played professionally in Taiwan.
