Report: Kelce to return to Chiefs for 14th season

Future Hall-of-Fame tight end Travis Kelce is expected to return for a 14th NFL season, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

Rapoport adds that Kelce has communicated to interested teams that he wants to remain in Kansas City with the Chiefs. Kelce is a free agent coming off a two-year, $34.25 million deal he signed ahead of the 2024 campaign.

The 36-year-old caught 76 passes for 851 yards and five touchdowns in 17 games last season for Kansas City.

He’s spent his entire career with the Chiefs since being drafted in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft out of Cincinnati. From 2016 to 2022, the Cleveland Heights, Ohio, native recorded seven straight 1,000-yard seasons.

Kelce is an 11-time Pro Bowler, a four-time All-Pro and and three-time Super Bowl champion.
