Ja'Marr Chase gave his thoughts on the Bengals in a new interview

The Baltimore Ravens shook up the NFL with a blockbuster trade for Maxx Crosby and it’s already ruffling some feathers around the league.

Baltimore traded a 2026 first round pick and a 2027 first round pick to acquire Maxx Crosby.

The AFC North is now filled with game-changing pass rushers much to the Cincinnati Bengals demise. During a livestream, Cincinnati Bengals Wide Receiver Ja’Marr Chase delivered an epic rant after finding out Crosby was traded to the Baltimore Ravens.

Ja’Marr Chase’s Expletive-Filled Rant

Chase was on a video game livestream when quarterback Joe Burrow texted him about the Maxx Crosby news.

“Joe just f—ing texted me. Ravens traded for Maxx Crosby,” Chase said during the livestream. “No f—ing s—. No f—ing s—, brother. “I’m f—ing highly p—ed right now. Oh my God.”

The AFC North is now filled with game-changing pass rushers with Pittsburgh Steelers‘ T.J. Watt, Cleveland Browns’ Myles Garrett, and now the newest Baltimore Raven–Maxx Crosby. The Cincinnati Bengals will now lineup against all three of them twice a year.

“How do we let this n—- go to the f—ing division bro?” Chase said. “… Oh my God.”

“The Raiders received two first-round picks from the Ravens, including their No. 14 overall selection in next month’s NFL Draft, to land the 28-year-old Crosby. Baltimore, with new defensive-minded head coach Jesse Minter, are not playing around about bolstering the defense, and they finally got the Eastern Michigan product out of Las Vegas after seven seasons.” Scott Thompson wrote in a Fox News article.

To make things worse, the Cincinnati Bengals have struggled to protect Joe Burrow over the years. Burrow entered the league in 2020 and has been sacked 213 times, the fourth-most among active quarterbacks in that timeframe. The Ravens adding Maxx Crosby makes the Bengals’ offseason that much more imperative to get Burrow offensive line help.

Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins Tried to Recruit Crosby

During an appearance on the UpAndAdamsShow in February,Kay Adams asked Ja’Marr Chase which Pro Bowler he would want added to Cincinnati’s roster.

Ja’Marr Chase on what Pro Bowler he’d add to the Bengals roster:

“I wanna go with your boy from Vegas, though. Maxx Crosby.”

Tee Higgins: “Hey Maxx, man, come on to the Bengals, man.”

Kay Adams: “I could see him in Cincy.”

Higgins: “I could too.”

“I wanna go with your boy from Vegas, though. Maxx Crosby,” Chase said. Tee Higgins chimed in with a comment of his own.

“Hey Maxx, man, come on to the Bengals, man,” Higgins added. Kay Adams agreed with both players, saying she could “see him in Cincy.”

This desperate recruiting move not only fell to the floor, but things could not have turned out worse for Cincy. Crosby was moved an AFC North rival while Cincy still has questions defensively.

The Cincinnati Bengals defense has nowhere to go but up after the past two seasons. The Bengals ranked 26th in passing defense in 2025. They ranked 31st in total defense in 2025 and 32nd in rushing defense which is dead last. Cincinnati allowed 380.9 yards per game and gave up 60 total touchdowns.

This Ja’Marr Chase rant seems justified due to the position the Cincinnati Bengals are in. With pass rusher Trey Hendrickson possibly on his way out of the door, the Bengals will have big holes to fill this offseason.
