Giannis teammate reveals doubts about Bucks superstar staying

Bobby Portis says he's "50/50" on Giannis Antetokounmpo returning to the Milwaukee Bucks next season.

Milwaukee Bucks veteran big man Bobby Portis shared how confident he is that superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo will return to the team next season on a scale of 1 to 10.

Milwaukee Bucks / Schedule

"I'm at a 5, right there in the middle... It's up in the air," Portis said on the Run It Back show.

Bobby expects this offseason to bring plenty of uncertainty to Milwaukee if the team doesn't win a championship.

The 31-year-old Portis has been a key contributor off the Bucks' bench since 2020.

He finished among the top three in Sixth Man of the Year voting in both 2023 and 2024 and is one of the few players from Milwaukee's 2021 championship team still with the squad.

Despite all the trade rumors, a move involving Giannis is far from certain.

Teams expected to make serious offers this summer include the Miami Heat, Golden State Warriors, Minnesota Timberwolves, New York Knicks, and Los Angeles Lakers.

Before the February 5 trade deadline, the Heat, Timberwolves, and Warriors were reportedly the most aggressive in pursuing him. Still, the Bucks were never seriously open to trading their longtime star.

Antetokounmpo has made it clear that his main priority is competing for another championship.
