Mike Evans is undoubtedly one of the greatest players in Tampa Bay Buccaneers history.
However, he could be playing for a different NFL team next season for the first time in his remarkable career.

That is according to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network.

“Evans, (he’s) gonna have interest on the market,” Garafolo said. “He has had conversations with Tampa Bay in recent days, actually recent weeks as well about potentially returning there as well.

“But this is starting to feel like maybe for the first time Evans is going to be playing for another team.”

Could this really be the end of Mike Evans in Tampa?
Garafolo also stated that he thinks the decision could be made fairly soon.

“I do believe that if Evans does land elsewhere, I mean regardless, I think it’s going to be happen quickly here,” Garafolo added.
Evans won a Super Bowl with Tampa Bay in the 2020 season, and he has been with the organization since he was drafted by the Buccaneers out of Texas A&M in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft.

The 32 year old WR holds the franchise record for touchdown receptions, total touchdowns, receptions, touchdown receptions and receiving yards, as per buccaneers.com.
As such, it sure would be the end of an era if Evans were to leave Tampa Bay this offseason.
