A consistent contributor over the years, Kenneth Walker capped off his first Super Bowl by earning MVP for the Seattle Seahawks. After the team was unwilling to place the Franchise Tag on him, Walker and the Kansas City Chiefs have come to terms on a new deal leading up to the 2026 season. He has been in the NFL for four years, all of which were with the Seahawks.

Walker was a superstar at Michigan State after transferring from Wake Forest. In his junior season, he led the Big Ten with 1,636 yards (second-most in the FBS), was a unanimous All-American, finished sixth in Heisman Trophy voting, and was awarded the Walter Camp Award and Doak Walker Award. The Seahawks picked Walker with the 41st overall pick in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
As a rookie, Walker immediately took over as the Seahawks’ number-one back with 11 starts in 15 total appearances. He led the way with 228 rushes for 1,050 yards and nine touchdowns. The next closest Seahawk was a quarterback.
In his second season, Walker started all 15 games in which he appeared. He missed two games in the back half of November due to an oblique injury. In all, Walker led the Seahawks again with 219 rushes for 905 yards and eight touchdowns.
2024 was his worst statistically, due to three separate injuries forcing him to miss six games in total. In 11 games, Walker ran for 573 yards and seven touchdowns on 153 carries, still leading the team.
Then, Walker showed last year what he can do when healthy. For the first time in his career, he started all 17 games. As a result, he amassed 1,027 yards and five touchdowns on 221 carries. However, for as good as those numbers are, he literally carried the Seahawks offense to a Super Bowl win. In the NFL Divisional Round against the San Francisco 49ers, Walker ran for 116 yards and three touchdowns on 19 carries. In Super Bowl LX, Walker earned Super Bowl MVP honors on the back of a 27-rush, 135-yard performance.
Additionally, over his four-year career, Walker has hauled in 133 receptions for 1,005 yards and two touchdowns.
