Kelce, a third-round pick by the Chiefs in 2013, became a franchise icon and one of the most recognizable players in the sport throughout his Hall-of-Fame career.

After missing nearly his entire rookie season due to a knee injury, Kelce emerged as one of Kansas City’s top playmakers in 2014 and became a Pro Bowler for the first time in 2015.

In 2016, Kelce began a seven-year streak of 1,000-yard seasons with his first season eclipsing that mark, totaling 1,125 yards as a 27-year-old to become an AP All-Pro for the first time in his career.

Kelce was also named an All-Pro from 2017 to 2022, alternating between first and second team each season. Kelce was also named to the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s All-Decade Team for the 2010s.

Throughout his career, Kelce set fire to the Chiefs’ record books. He’ll end his time with the organization as the franchise record-holder for receptions, receiving yards, receiving TDs and total TDs.

During the early portion of his career, Kelce starred with Alex Smith at quarterback. He blossomed into a playoff legend and all-time great as quarterback Patrick Mahomes took over the reins, with the duo leading Kansas City to seven consecutive AFC Championship Game appearances and three Super Bowl titles.

He is the NFL record-holder for postseason receptions and Super Bowl receptions, and trails only Hall-of-Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice for most receiving yards in playoff history.

In two of Kansas City’s three Super Bowl wins during this dynastic run, Kelce scored a touchdown, and in the other, he was the Chiefs’ leading receiver.

Over the course of his career, Kelce has amassed 1,080 receptions, 13,002 receiving yards, and 82 touchdowns. Last season, the Cleveland Heights, Ohio, native led the Chiefs in receiving with 76 receptions and 851 yards.

Throughout his career, the 6-foot-5 tight end has been no stranger to the spotlight, hosting his own dating show, Catching Kelce, in 2016, and co-hosting his podcast New Heights beginning in 2022, with his brother Jason Kelce.

The podcast preceded his relationship with music superstar Taylor Swift, whom Kelce got engaged to in August ahead of his final season.
