Running back Kenneth Walker is signing with the Kansas City Chiefs in free agency, per Ian Rapoport.
Walker is coming off a Super Bowl win with the Seattle Seahawks, where he was named Super Bowl MVP.
The running back was a second-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft by Seattle. Walker has played through his rookie deal and did not sign an extension with the Seahawks. Now he joins a Kansas City offense that is led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes and is expected to retain veteran tight end Travis Kelce.
While the Chiefs have been dominant in their recent dynasty run, their biggest hole on offense has been at the running back position. They haven't been able to find any consistency at the position, and hope that Walker can provide that with this new deal.
Here is what we know about the former Seahawks RB signing with the Chiefs.
