Patriots Bring Back Starter Just Minutes Before Start Of Free Agency

The New England Patriots are bringing back tight end Jack Westover.

Westover, who was a pending exclusive rights free agent, was tendered a contract, according to Mark Daniels of MassLive.

Westover will return at the value of a league-minimum contract, as exclusive rights free agent are not allowed to negotiate with other teams once they're tendered -- with the club electing not to tender contracts to defensive lineman Isaiah Iton and running back Deneric Prince.

The Patriots now have three tight ends under contract entering 2025: Westover, Hunter Henry, and CJ Dippre.
