Just a month after the Seattle Seahawks won a Super Bowl for the second time in team history, the NFL offseason has thrust them back into competition mode.
The league’s “legal tampering” period of free agency opened Monday morning, with teams allowed to negotiate with other free agents. The official start period of free agency, when those teams and players can actually put pen to paper on contracts, is set for 1 p.m. Wednesday.
