Why Giants are signing tight end Isaiah Likely in NFL free agency

Tight end is a need for the Giants, as they could use an upgrade over Theo Johnson.

Though Likely is coming off a down year, he's a dynamic playmaker capable of being a star when at his best, and he'll get the opportunity to be a full-time starter in New York.

Additionally, Likely and Giants head coach John Harbaugh have a connection due to their days in Baltimore, so this signing has always made sense.
