NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - DeMario Davis’ days as a Saint are reportedly over. According to ESPN Adam Schefter, Davis is signing with the New York Jets, the team that drafted him.
The deal is reportedly for two-years and $22 million, with $15 million guaranteed.
Davis arrived in New Orleans in 2018 and instantly became a locker room leader. Last year, he had a career high in tackles at the age of 36.
The Saints currently have Pete Werner and Danny Stutsman as in-house possibilities to replace Davis.
