Dolphins, 49ers and Cardinals rumor reveals interest in same free-agent wide receiver

The Miami Dolphins, San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals reportedly have interest in the same wide receiver.

According to CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz, the three teams are rumored to be "in the mix" for wide receiver Kendrick Bourne.

"The Cardinals, Dolphins and 49ers are among the teams in the mix with wide receiver Kendrick Bourne, sources tell CBS Sports," Zenitz reported.

Bourne had a solid season for the 49ers in 2025, pulling in 37 catches for 551 yards. He was particularly impressive while San Francisco's wide receivers room was banged up.

The Dolphins and 49ers have the biggest need at wide receiver of these three teams.

Miami cut Tyreek Hill, leaving the team with Jaylen Waddle and not much else, and the Niners are set to cut ties with Brandon Aiyuk and could lose Jauan Jennings in free agency.

Bourne has previously spoken highly about his relationship with new Cardinals head coach Mike LaFleur, so that's something to consider. He could garner the No. 3 role behind Marvin Harrison Jr. and Michael Wilson.
