Williams suffered a season-ending ACL tear in his left knee during a game against the Houston Rockets on Feb. 23, just his sixth appearance with the team.
The 47th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft was acquired by Utah from the Memphis Grizzlies in February as part of a deal that included Jaren Jackson Jr. and two other players.
In six games with the Jazz, Williams averaged 4.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.7 assists.
Before the trade, the former Toledo guard played 34 games for Memphis, averaging 8.0 points, 4.4 assists, and 4.0 rebounds in 21.6 minutes per game.
Williams is earning $2.3 million this season, and the Jazz held a $2.5 million team option for the 2026-27 season.
