Jessica Alba is not dating Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, despite what you may have heard. The actress and the NFL star were photographed together in Las Vegas over the weekend, but it turns out this was just a case of two beautiful people enjoying some platonic late-night gambling together. We’ve all been there.
On Sunday, a photo of Alba and Burrow at a blackjack table in Vegas (purportedly taken at 2 a.m.) went viral on X, along with the specious claim that the two were “reportedly dating.” This was quite the assertion, given the fact that Alba has been dating actor Danny Ramirez since last summer.

As it turns out, the explanation is quite simple, and it’s not that these two are dating. They just run in the same social circles. Multiple sources told TMZ that Alba and Burrow were both attending the opening of Zero Bond Vegas and were part of a larger friend group. TMZ also reported that Alba and Ramirez are still very much together. Alba confirmed as much on Sunday, posting a photo dump from a recent trip to Mexico City that included several shots of the couple. According to “Page Six,” Burrow is currently single. Most recently, he was linked to model Olivia Ponton (and according to a couple of DeuxMoi submissions, they were still being seen together as recently as February).
All this hubbub and for what? Can’t a gorgeous middle-age woman with a hypoallergenic-diaper empire hang out with a 29-year-old quarterback in peace? What is Vegas for if not having a laugh in the wee hours of the morning with someone you might never talk to again? Between trips to Mexico City with her man and blackjack games with cute football players, it seems like Alba has it all figured out. We should probably just let her live.
