With the title well out of reach, the FA Cup is Liverpool’s best chance at silverware this season.
The win over Wolves on Friday saw the Reds comfortably through to the last eight, and they now need just three wins to get their hands on the trophy.

For Slot, this represents ta huge test. With a trip to Wembley on the line, the Reds will need to be at their absolute best to overcome Pep Guardiola’s side.
The FA Cup could be huge for Arne Slot’s job security
It’s fair to say Slot is not popular with every fan these days, but ending the season with silverware would certainly convert many of the non-believers.
Some think it’s silverware or bust for Slot at Liverpool. I’m not so sure that’s where FSG’s decision will be made.

Whatever the case, winning the FA Cup would put a much brighter complexion on an admittedly dull season.
To get there, Liverpool have to beat Man City at the beginning of April.
