The 25-year-old, 2.13-meter center from the Netherlands would be eligible to play only in Liga Endesa, as the EuroLeague player registration deadline has already passed.

Edwards recently completed his season in Australia, where his team, Melbourne United, was eliminated in the NBL play-in tournament.

In his second professional season, Edwards averaged 13.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks in 22 minutes per game, ranking among the top five rebounders in the NBL league.

He produced several standout performances during the campaign, including a 25-point game against the Adelaide 36ers early in the season and a 23-point, 8-rebound outing against the Sydney Kings.

Later in January, he delivered back-to-back dominant performances with 18 points and 17 rebounds against the Perth Wildcats and 23 points and 14 rebounds against the New Zealand Breakers.

After going undrafted in 2024, Edwards signed a two-way contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves and appeared in two NBA games.

Edwards is also a member of the Netherlands national team.

Baskonia currently sits 18th in the EuroLeague with a 9–21 record, while holding the 4th spot in the Liga Endesa standings.

The club also lifted the Copa del Rey title last month.
