Atlanta Hawks Make Jonathan Kuminga Announcement Before Mavs Game

On Tuesday night, the Atlanta Hawks will host the Dallas Mavericks at State Farm Arena in Georgia.

The Hawks are coming off a 125-116 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.

Jonathan Kuminga did not play in the game, as he missed his second straight.

For Tuesday’s game, the Hawks have announced that Kuminga is being listed as questionable.

Brad Rowland of Locked On Hawks wrote: “Jonathan Kuminga (left knee bone bruise) is questionable for Tuesday against Dallas.”

Kuminga has been excellent since getting traded (via the Golden State Warriors) last month.

As a whole, he is averaging 13.3 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists per contest while shooting 48.4% from the field and 35.5% from three-point range in 23 games for the Hawks and Warriors this season.

The NBA wrote: “Jonathan Kuminga SHINES in Hawks debut 🔥 27 points 9-12 shooting 3-4 from deep 7 rebounds 4 assists 2 steals”

The Hawks Are Rolling

Despite missing Kuminga in each of the previous two games, the Hawks have kept their six-game winning streak alive.

They are starting to show signs of a team who can make the 2026 NBA playoffs.
