Green Bay Packers: Quay Walker reunites with former teammate on Las Vegas Raiders in 2026 NFL…

The Green Bay Packers have already seen a few of their unrestricted free agents agree to deals with other NFL teams. Malik Willis, as many expected, has agreed to a three-year contract worth $67.5 million with the Miami Dolphins. The deal reunites him with Jon Eric-Sullivan (their general manager) and Jeff Hafley (their head coach), who both came from Green Bay.

Additionally, Kingsley Enagbare agreed to a one-year $10 million contract with the New York Jets. Presumably, he will get more playing time there than he would have had he remained in Green Bay.

Now, it looks like another free agent, Quay Walker, is officially heading elsewhere.

When Green Bay acquired Zaire Franklin over the weekend from the Indianapolis Colts, many assumed it meant that Walker would not be coming back. Despite the Packers’ stated desire to retain their former first round pick on an extension, no deal ever materialized.

Now, he is reuniting with Eric Stokes, another former Packers first round pick, on the Las Vegas Raiders:

According to Adam Schefter, the Raiders are giving Walker a three-year deal worth $40.5 million, which includes $28 million guaranteed.

Stokes and Walker were also college teammates at Georgia.

Walker was voted a team captain last year and, for the fourth year in a row, amassed over 100 tackles on the season.

There were concerns, though, about his ability to defend in the passing game. Additionally, he frequently misdiagnosed plays pre-snap and was oftentimes out of position to make plays early enough to matter.

However, he is incredibly fast and his speed made up for a few, but not all, of his mistakes.
