NY Giants news: Giants agree to terms with DB Ar’Darius Washington; What it means for the Giants

The New York Giants have agreed to terms with former Baltimore Ravens defensive back Ar’Darius Washington, [per a report from Jordan Schultz](https://x.com/Schultz_Report/status/2031146519470944354?s=20).

The Giants had a hole on their secondary following the departure of cornerback Cor’Dale Flott to the Tennessee Titans. Washington, 26, has played in 30 career games, starting 10 in 2024 after primarily being a special teams player.

The Ravens initially signed Washington as an undrafted free agent out of TCU following the 2021 NFL Draft. He’s an under-sized defender at 5-foot-8 and roughly 176 pounds, but is a good athlete and an aggressive hitter who was a Freshman All American at TCU, as well as Freshman Defensive Player Of The Year for the Big 12.

Washington helps reinforce a Giants secondary that lost special teams ace and third safety Dane Belton to free agency as well as Flott.

Washington is also a familiar face for John Harbaugh, who is seeking to instill the type of culture in the Giants that he fostered in Baltimore.
