Alarming details discovered on Dwight Howard break-up with wife

Per TMZ, officers were called to the former NBA player’s mansion in Suwanee, Georgia three times over the last 14 days, responding to a suicide threat, a domestic incident and a reported theft.

Things have gone ugly between Dwight Howard and his wife, leading to Monday's reported filing of divorce by the former NBA star.

A spokesperson for the Gwinnett County Police Department told TMZ that officers responded to the former NBA player's home in Suwanee, Georgia for about three times in the last 14 days, including calls about a suicide threat, a domestic situation and a reported theft.

The exact details behind the three incidents remain unclear.

Over the weekend, Amy Luciani posted several emotional videos on Instagram — which have since been deleted — making serious claims about Howard and their household environment. She alleged that Howard has a severe cocaine addiction and revealed that Child Protective Services (CPS) had been called to their home multiple times and that their daughter was removed from the house due to the ex-NBA big man's behavior.

Hours after Luciani's allegations, Howard filed for a divorce, stating that their marriage is “irretrievably broken”, and demanded full authority of their mansion in Georgia.

The couple tied the knot in January last year. However, this isn’t their first legal separation. Luciani previously filed for divorce in July before later withdrawing the petition, calling the move “stupid and silly” as the two reconciled later that year.

Howard was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2025. He is an eight-time All-Star, three-time Defensive Player of the Year, and a 2020 NBA champion as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers.
