The FIFA Club World Cup controversy

Tensions boiled over at the final whistle when a mass brawl erupted on the pitch. The flashpoint involved PSG manager Luis Enrique, who shockingly confronted Chelsea’s Joao Pedro. Video footage appeared to show Enrique striking the Brazilian striker in the face, causing him to collapse.

This followed a heated conclusion where PSG’s João Neves was sent off for pulling Marc Cucurella’s hair.

Adding to the absurdity, the trophy presentation featured Donald Trump and Gianni Infantino, a move that drew widespread boos from the 81,000-strong crowd.
