Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo gets new company in historic NBA club

Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is a member of several elite NBA statistical clubs, including one that features players who have at least 100 games of 20 points, five rebounds and five assists before turning 25 years old.

On Sunday, that club grew a little bigger, with 34-year-old Charlotte Hornets star point guard LaMelo Ball joining the group.

Via ESPN Insights on X (formerly Twitter):

LaMelo Ball has 100 games scoring at least 20 PTS, 5 REB, and 5 AST, the most in Hornets history🔥 He is only the 8th player in NBA history with 100 such games before turning 25 😤 Others include LeBron James, Luka Doncic, Oscar Robertson, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Magic Johnson.

Against the Phoenix Suns at the Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix, Arizona, Ball put up 22 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and dished out six assists, while shooting 9/19 from the field in 33 minutes of action. However, even his excellent performance was not enough for the Hornets to avoid a 111-99 loss to the Suns.

Ball will not turn 25 years old until August, so he’s got the rest of the 2025-26 NBA regular season to try and add more to his 20-5-5 games. That said, that’s not his main focus, with the Hornets trying to make the NBA Playoffs for the first time in nearly two decades.

As for Antetokounmpo, he is still very capable of putting up such eye-popping stat lines on a regular basis. In fact, he is averaging better than those numbers, as the 32-year-old Greek superstar is recording 27.5 points, 9.9 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game, so far in the 2025-26 campaign.
