Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has admitted U21 goalkeeper George Pickford could be set for another loan move next season.
George Pickford recently departed Finch Farm for a short-term loan deal with National League North side Southport.
The Everton U21 goalkeeper has enjoyed a strong season under Paul Tait, which has earned him an opportunity to experience men’s football for the first time.

Before departing Everton, George Pickford admitted that Jordan Pickford had helped him in training, with the England number one sharing fresh advice for him.

Jordan Pickford expects another Everton loan for George Pickford
Southport’s manager has already hailed George Pickford in his opening appearances for the National League North side.
Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, Jordan Pickford has admitted that George could already be looking at a League Two loan for next season.

“I think it’s a non-negotiable as a goalkeeper. If you’ve got a bit of talent, if you’ve got that talent there as a keeper, you’ve got to go out on loan as quick as you can to the lower leagues,” said Jordan.
“I did it and it put me in good stead. I can only use my experience but I feel like mine’s a perfect example.”
“Next year he might go National League or even League Two, it’s about doing well, going there and enjoying it. You’ll soon man up a bit more. It’ll be a lot different to playing U21s or U18s football,” he added.
George Pickford has received interest from Germany prior to his move out on loan to the National League North.
Whilst Jordan is playing at the top of his game, there is a clear pathway being put in place for George, who may be viewed as the long-term replacement.
Everton’s coaches have been impressed with George Pickford in training, but nothing compares to the experience he will get out on loan competing in men’s football.
