Tottenham Hotspur are in serious danger of relegation and Everton could capitalise from the north London club’s misfortune.
Everton fans know all too well the feeling of fighting for Premier League status at this stage of the season.
With nine games remaining, Tottenham sit just one point above the drop and without a Premier League win this year.
David Moyes has navigated the Toffees away from that danger this season, but he could look to raid Spurs of some of their talents this summer.

Richarlison
The obvious choice is Richarlison. With one year remaining on his deal, the 28-year-old could return to Everton and offer an improvement on the current striker options.
It is believed that Richarlison will leave Tottenham this summer, regardless of whether the club are relegated or not.

Richarlison has netted eight goals for Spurs in the Premier League this season despite not necessarily being the regular starter.

A lot of Everton fans would like to see Richarlison return over the summer. Relegation for Spurs could even cut the cost of a potential deal significantly.
Djed Spence
Djed Spence is like marmite, but he could actually be the perfect fit for the current Everton squad.
Moyes has demanded more from his full-backs this season, with neither Jake O’Brien nor Vitalii Mykolenko overly impressing.
Through using Squawka’s player comparison matrix, Spence’s 2025/26 season – which has been turbulent in north London – still shows some key areas that could improve the Blues.

Spence has demonstrated a greater ability to take on his man with the ball at his feet, with the versatile full-back also showing greater strengths defensively.
Moyes has wanted a new right-back ever since he returned to Merseyside. Spence’s versatility means he regularly switches between both sides of the defence.
Pedro Porro
Whether Pedro Porro would be keen to move up north is another question, but he is certainly a right-back that would improve Everton.
The Spaniard has returned an impressive 11 goals and 25 assists for Tottenham in his 141 appearances across all competitions.
Questions may be asked about his defensive ability, but Porro offers something that Everton have not seen in a long time at full-back.
This is perhaps the most unrealistic of the three options, but it would certainly be a statement addition for the Blues.
It is, however, one possible signing that may require European qualification to even be a consideration.
