Trent McDuffie inked a four-year contract with the Rams this offseason, reportedly turning him into the NFL’s top-earning cornerback. McDuffie’s girlfriend, Gabby Esposito, was one among many to react to his deal.
Gabby congratulated the corner by appreciating his hard work and effort. She shared a story of the news on his Instagram account and captioned the story with her true feelings.

Trent McDuffie killed it with the Chiefs after they snagged him at the 21st overall draft pick in 2022. The Rams are hyped for him to ball out next year.

“This one is definitely hard to put into words, I wasn’t quite ready for a goodbye. I want to thank God for giving me an opportunity of a lifetime. When I first put on a Chiefs helmet I knew something powerful was in the making,” Trent McDuffiewrote.
He further thanked the team’s General Manager and all the other coaching staff. McDuffie’s detailed message also thanked the loyal Chiefs fans.
“To (Chiefs general manager Brett) Veach, coach (Andy) Reid, and the rest of the coaching staff, thank you for taking a chance on me in the draft. I hope I proved through great character and quiet leadership we could build a legacy. I gave all that I had to the organization and I thank you for the lessons you’ve taught me along the way,” McDuffie continued.
It’s a new chapter for Trent McDuffie with the Rams. The corner will have a huge responsibility with the team as he looks forward to a strong season.
