Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy took a break from commenting on the US-Israeli attack on Iran to address another contentious conflict: Tom Brady vs. the New England Patriots.

Following the Las Vegas Raiders' recent trade of Maxx Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens, ESPN revealed that the Patriots weren't really contenders for the All-Pro edge rusher. The issue, reportedly, was that Raiders minority owner and influential executive, Brady, was unwilling to give his former team and teammate, Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel, one of the best defensive players in the game.

'No way Tom was sending Maxx to Vrabel,' one source told ESPN.

A Massachusetts native and Patriots fan who graduated from Michigan the same year as Brady, Portnoy is now ready to break with his team's most iconic player.

'It's starting to sound like a broken record here, where Tom Brady is slighting the New England Patriots...,' Portnoy said in a social media post Monday. 'It's just one thing after another, to the point that if you're a Patriots fan, you can come [to] not other conclusion other than that he hates the New England Patriots. It's not an accident.

'We just put up a statue of the guy,' Portnoy said. 'I say tear it down.

Brady was reportedly unwilling to trade Crosby to his former team, the Patriots

'Thank you for your Super Bowls,' Portnoy added, referring to the six Brady won with New England.

'You're just a guy. Go play in your flag football games. Go be in a million different ads, but I don't need you in my life anymore, and you don't need us.'

The flag-football reference is a nod to Brady's upcoming exhibition in Los Angeles, which was recently relocated from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia amid military conflicts in the Middle East.

Brady, who also serves as one of Fox's NFL analysts, recently angered Patriots fans by refusing to express support for the Patriots against the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl LX.

'I don't have a dog in the fight in this one,' Brady said on his podcast last month.

Portnoy waited days to respond, but when he did, the 48-year-old was undeniably furious.

'This is for Patriots fans eyes only,' Portnoy wrote online. 'I don't want to leave anything unsaid before the Super Bowl. So I'm just gonna say this and move on. I think it's bull**** Tom Brady said he has no dog in the fight for the Super Bowl. It's pretty obvious he doesn't give a s*** about us anymore so maybe we shouldn't care about him either.

'Maybe it was just professional and that's fine.'

Brady previously rebuked Portnoy for reporting that the retired quarterback was getting $75 million to play in the upcoming flag football game.

'Are we just picking numbers out of a hat and reporting them?' Brady asked on X. 'While we're breaking news... Elvis is doing the halftime show, and Babe Ruth is gonna sign some autographs for fans.'
