Star pass rusher Maxx Crosby was on his way to a Power Slap event in Las Vegas when he found out he was traded to the Baltimore Ravens.

The former Raiders star was enjoying his Friday evening and was about to arrive at the Zuffa-owned fighting circuit when company president Dana White says Crosby got the news.

'He was just pulling in to Power Slap, and he just found out at the same time,' White explained in a boxing press conference.

'He didn't know, either... He turned around, and went home, and said, "I'm not going to Power Slap. I'm going to lay low for a few days."'

White also told reporters that Crosby is expected to remain living in Las Vegas whenever he's not in Baltimore.

'Obviously, he loves this city. He said, "I just paid my house off, I'm not going anywhere,"' White said.

'He's gonna, obviously, continue to live in Las Vegas, but he's excited about the potential in Baltimore, too, about possibly winning a Super Bowl.'

Crosby was drafted by the Raiders out of Eastern Michigan in 2019 and went on to play seven years with the franchise - including its final season in Oakland.

But after the Raiders struggled to build themselves into a contender, Crosby demanded a trade.

He landed with the Ravens after Baltimore gave up two first round picks - including this year's 14th overall pick - to acquire him.

In a video posted to social media after the trade, Crosby said he considered himself a 'Raider for life' and hopes to end his career 'in a Raiders jersey whenever that time comes.'

But for now, Crosby joins the likes of Kyle Hamilton, Nate Wiggins, Roquan Smith and Nnamdi Madubuike on the Ravens' defense.
