Dak Prescott's Ex-Fiancee Responds To The Prenup Speculation

Sarah Jane Ramos debunked a rumor regarding her split with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.

Ramos and Prescott called off their wedding a month before the ceremony. Gossip emerged that Ramos refused to sign a prenuptial agreement, but she disputed those reports when responding to a clip of former NFL players Emmanuel Acho and LeSean McCoy discussing the situation on their "Speakeasy" podcast.

"This had nothing to do with a prenup," Ramos wrote Monday on Instagram. "I hope we can put that rumor to rest now."

"It was a mutual decision"

A representative for Ramos told People's Zoey Lyttle that she and Prescott, who share two young daughters, are "both heartbroken" over the cancelled wedding. The spokesperson denied any fight or animosity over a prenup causing the split.

"There wasn't any rockiness in the lead up, and there was no big argument or blow up. It was a mutual decision," the representative said. "They love their girls, and they're committed to raising their children together in the most loving and positive way. It's still shocking for them since this happened so recently, and they ask for privacy while they sort everything out."

TMZ also refuted reports that Ramos and Prescott got into a prenup dispute before calling off the wedding, which was scheduled for April 10 in Italy.

"She has done well for herself as a wine and spirits specialist too, so their relationship was never about Dak's NFL salary," TMZ wrote. "As for whether they ever had the prenup talk, we're told Sarah Jane made it clear she wasn't interested in the Dallas Cowboys superstar's fortune ... and since she had her own dough, she was never asked to sign anything."

Ramos' Instagram reply represented the first public comments from her or Prescott since nixing the ceremony. She had last posted photos from her bachelorette party on Thursday.

"I truly believe you can get through anything in life as long as you have really great friends," Ramos wrote. "I love these girls so much."
