Over the last few years, Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love has been working his way up to NFL superstar status. He still has work to do, but there is no denying that he is one of the most talented signal callers in the league.

Last season, Love put together his best all-around season to date.

Throughout the course of the 2025 campaign, Love played in 15 regular season games. He completed 66.3 percent of his pass attempts for 3,381 yards, 23 touchdowns, and just six interceptions, while also running for 199 yards.

Love was able to cut down on the unnecessary turnovers that he had committed in the past. The Packers could still use bigger passing numbers for him, but the improvement was clear in the 27-year-old quarterback’s game.

With that being said, one former Green Bay star took some time to speak out about Love. That player is none other than former Packers safety Adrian Amos.

Adrian Amos Doesn’t Hold Back About Packers QB Jordan Love

In an exclusive interview with ClutchPoints, Amos boldly talked about the comparison between Love and both Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favre. His words will excite the Green Bay fan base.

“I think he’s in between Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers,” Amos said. “I’m not saying he’s a Hall of Famer right now, or anything like that. I’m not comparing them that way. I’m saying his play style is like those two, Aaron’s going to protect the ball 100%. Brett Favre is gonna let it go, he gonna throw it up.”

Amos continued forward, revealing more of his opinion about Love’s NFL comparison.

“I think Jordan Love has a little bit of that, but he also has the throw-making ability Aaron has as he can make those throws off his back foot, across his body, sidearm throws,” Amos said. “He can make all of those types of throws. He can do that, but he has the gunslinger-like mentality sometimes of Brett Favre that does get him in trouble sometimes too, throwing it up.”

Along with comparison Love to both Rodgers and Favre, he spoke out about whether or not Love can truly become one of the NFL’s elite signal callers.

“I think he can be,” he said. “I think he is great, but I think he could be one of those elite guys if he’s consistent with taking care of the ball and those things. But he has an elite arm talent. I feel like when his feet is set in the pocket, he’s making great throws. He has great accuracy and a great relationship with the guys in the locker room. He draws to a lot of guys in the locker room. I think it benefited him sitting around for his first couple years being up behind Aaron, being one of the guys in the locker room. It just carried him over to where he is now.”

Green Bay Has Had a Busy Offseason, But Not Great Yet

So far during the 2026 NFL offseason, the Packers have been more focused on subtracting than adding. They have moved on from quite a few players.

On that list are Rashan Gary, Elgton Jenkins, and Nate Hobbs, while also losing quarterback Malik Willis, Quay Walker, Emmanuel Wilson, and more.

For Green Bay to be a true Super Bowl contender in 2026, Brian Gutekunst and the front office will need to get busy. There are still quality free agents available and the trade market has some intriguing pieces as well.

Hopefully, the Green Bay Packers are able to add some talent to the roster and avoid taking a step back next season.
