The Green Bay Packers did not make any outside signings on the first unofficial day of NFL free agency. They did, however, see Quay Walker agree to terms with the Las Vegas Raiders. Additionally, Kingsley Enagbare agreed to a deal with the New York Jets, and Malik Willis is headed to the Miami Dolphins.
Green Bay did, however, trade Rashan Gary to the Dallas Cowboys and part ways with Elgton Jenkins. They also re-signed a few of their own free agents, such as Darian Kinnard.
On Tuesday, the Packers made their first outside free agent signing (or at least agreed to a deal) with cornerback Benjamin St-Juste. They also released Nate Hobbs.
They also now have seen Romeo Doubs officially agree to join another team.

According to multiple NFL reporters and insiders, Doubs has reached an agreement to sign with the New England Patriots, who represented the AFC in the Super Bowl this past year:

According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, Doubs’ contract is for four years and $80 million, an annual salary of $20 million.
That is certainly much more than the Packers would have been willing to pay him. Of course, with so many other young wide receivers on the roster, they were not going to bring him back anyway.
In New England, Doubs immediately becomes one of the their best wide receivers following the release of Stefon Diggs last week.
Doubs is coming off the best season of his career that saw him catch 55 passes for 724 yards and five touchdowns. Now that he will not have to share as many targets with the Patriots, it will be interesting to see what kind of numbers he puts up in New England.
