The New England Patriots made a wide receiver move on Tuesday afternoon. They signed Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs to a three-year, $60 million deal. NFL analyst Jordan Schultz reported this.
He recorded 55 sections for 724 yards and six touchdowns last season. He averaged 13.2 yards per catch, and had 85 total targets.
Over four seasons with the Packers, the wide receiver had 202 receptions for 2, 424 yards and 21 touchdowns.
This is the first move for the Patriots’ wide receiver room and what has been a off-season full of moves and decisions across the lake. Doubs had recently been linked to the Patriots prior to free agency. Now, it appears that he is going to New England and giving them another receiving weapon, as noted by Schultz.
