“Marco’s Already the Next In Line”: NFL Fans Erupt On Twitter Over Stephen A. Smith Revealing…

NFL analyst Stephen A. Smith has been rumored to potentially run for President in 2028, but it doesn’t seem as if that is going to happen. What might happen is that Smith may be voting for someone else to take over the country when Donald J. Trump’s term is up.

Stephen A. Smith, ESPN personality, radio host and sports analyst, is one of the hosts of First Take. He is pictured before the show’s stop at Bethune-Cookman University during its HBCU fall tour on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025.

One potential hot name for the 2028 Presidential cycle is Marco Rubio. He would most likely run on the Republican side and not the Democratic side. Rubio has a better chance of winning than current Vice President J.D. Vance. Leading Report posted on Twitter on Monday, “BREAKING: Stephen A. Smith reveals that he would vote for Marco Rubio for president.” This does not feel like a surprise at all. A lot of other people are starting to feel this way about Rubio.

Coming into Trump’s second term, I was thinking DeSantis would be the top rival of JD…but yea, Marco has really come into his own since he has taken his 40 positions on the staff

It doesn’t matter, once the election is around the corner and people are told to line up with their parties, things like this will go to the wayside.

Smith will continue to talk about politics. This will not be the last time that he is going to mention about Rubio before the 2028 Presidential election cycle also.
