The Dallas Cowboys are on the board yet again.
Monday brought with it the start of the NFL’s legal tampering period and the Cowboys took advantage of it by agreeing to terms with safety Jalen Thompson.
We all knew that the secondary needed a lot of work though and it appears that the team agrees.
It was reported on Tuesday afternoon that the Cowboys are signing safety PJ Locke to a 1-year deal.
As noted in Jordan Schultz’s report, Locke has a history with new defensive coordinator Christian Parker from their time together with the Denver Broncos.
For full context on Locke, he went undrafted in 2019 out of the University of Texas and latched on with the Broncos after an initial cup of coffee with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He has only a single career interception to date, although he had another in the playoffs this past season against Buffalo, but he seems to be more of a point of versatility that Parker could look to use all over the defense.
